Greenidge is the first and only vertically integrated power generator and bitcoin miner of scale in the United States. 

In Upstate New York, we transformed a former coal-fired plant into a clean-burning natural gas power plant, significantly reducing historic carbon emissions at the facility.  In South Carolina, approximately two-thirds of our electricity is sourced from zero-carbon sources such as nuclear power.

Since inception, we have prioritized working with local government and communities to ensure Greenidge is a vital contributor to the local economies and protector of the environments in which we operate. We are also investing a portion of all profits from bitcoin mining into renewable energy projects, including the closure of an existing, forty-year-old coal ash landfill in the Finger Lakes region owned by Greenidge and the voluntary installation of a new solar farm at the site.
